BBC director general Tim Davie and CEO of News Deborah Turness resigned following an accusation of leftwing bias. It happened after the revelation that a Panorama documentary edited a speech by Donald Trump saying, “We’re going to walk down to the Capitol and I’ll be there with you, and we fight. We fight like hell.” It turns out the words were taken from sections of his speech almost an hour apart.
