Both Ruth Davidson and David Mundell said they could not work with Boris Johnson as Prime Minister, but in a surprise move (not surprising at all), once Johnson topped the first ballot to succeed Theresa May, both changed their tune. And this was the week that the UK Government strengthened its presence in Scotland, opening a new hub in Edinburgh with 3000 civil servants from a range of departments. Not creepy at all, eh?
