ORIGINAL ARTWORK: Scotland: The Country That Wasn’t There
£300.00
Genuine one-off collage artwork signed by Greg Moodie. This multi-layered piece was photographed and published in The National on October 21st 2019. It was created using traditional cut and paste techniques at the large format size 420 x 520mm. Rare and highly collectable.
As well as containing an array of bric a brac, this strip contains a cryptic message written in UV ink around the sides of the strip (actually song lyrics running through the artist’s head at the time of construction).
The particular story features Tory dimwits Damian Green and Dominic Raab as well as some Scottish Conservatives too insignificant to be represented by anything other than Potato-heads.
‘Asked why Scotland doesn’t have its own Brexit deal like Northern Ireland, Tory MP Damian Green said: “Well you can wonder that about Kent – the part that I represent.” Also Dominic Raab said this was a “cracking deal” for Northern Ireland because it will keep “frictionless access to the single market” – the access we all currently have until Brexit removes it.’
