The artist’s comment: ‘For the 2022 Scottish council election, the Tories used images of Ruth Davidson on campaign materials rather than leader Douglas Ross, alongside the message ‘send Sturgeon a message’. The SNP were always going to win comfortably and in the wake of partygate, Labour relegated the Conservatives to third place, while the Liberal Democrats also took seats from them.’
