The artist’s comment: ‘When Conservative MP Owen Paterson was given a 30-day suspension for being found guilty of ‘cash for questions’ by the parliamentary standards committee, the government did the sensible thing… and tried to abolish the committee. It was only when the SNP and Labour refused to be part of a new committee that they were forced to u-turn.’
