The artist’s comment: ‘King Charles III gave Scotland’s highest royal honour, the ‘Order of the Thistle’, to his wife, Camilla. According to Buckingham Palace, the honour “recognises Scottish men and women who have held public office or who have contributed in a particular way to national life”. Camilla’s contribution is unclear.’
