ORIGINAL ARTWORK: Unilateral Declaration Of Dependence

Genuine one-off collage artwork signed by Greg Moodie. This multi-layered piece was photographed and published in The National on January 13th 2020. It was created using traditional cut and paste techniques with an overall page size of 425 x 560mm. Rare and highly collectable.

Contains a wide array of collage material and a subliminal message written in UV ink around the perimeter.

The particular story was inspired by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s desire to ‘step back’ from roles as senior members of Royal Family. The characters involved here are Scottish Conservatives Jackson Carlaw, Alister Jack, Murdo Fraser, Miles Briggs, Douglas Ross and Adam Tomkins. Look out for a rogue fax machine.

‘The royal declaration of independence from Harry and Meghan caused quite a fuss in the right wing media. Here we muse on the effect this could have on the firecely dependent Scottish Conservatives.’

Dimensions: 425mm x 560mm. Media: Layered papers and mixed media pasted on heavyweight construction paper.
