For six years, Greg Moodie published a weekly comic strip in The National newspaper. But with the coronavirus lockdown of March 2020, shops closed, people were unable to buy newspapers, and as a consequence, The National was reduced to a skeleton staff and let freelancers go.

Moodie decided this was not the time to quit cartooning, and crowdfunded the period from March to August with the promise of a printed tabloid collection of the comic strips produced. This is it, a unique record of a unique time in our history.
