The artist’s comment: ‘SNP MP Lisa Cameron defected to the Tories just hours before she was about to be deselected, having been at loggerheads with the party for years. She campaigned against the sale of council houses in the 2015 election before it was revealed that she rented out five such properties. At the start of this year she wrote to the Scottish Secretary asking him to intervene on the GRR Bill, which had passed comfortably in Holyrood. Rishi Sunak welcomed her to the Conservatives and it was rumoured there was a peerage in the offing. My apologies to Antonio Prohías, the creator of Mad magazine’s ‘Spy Vs Spy’.’
