The artist’s comment: ‘This was written in response to a cartoon by Peter Brookes in The Times which showed four SNP leaders – Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon, Humza Yousaf and John Swinney – hanging from SNP logo nooses. It was shared by journalist Andrew Neil, who called it “brilliant”.’
