The artist’s comment: ‘In a surprise move, Douglas Ross announced he would be standing as an MP in Aberdeenshire North and Moray East, describing the move as “leading from the front”. Most surprised of all was the current holder of the seat, David Duguid, who appeared to be unaware of his deselection, saying the decision was not his and that claims he was “unable to stand” due to ill health were “simply incorrect”.’
