ORIGINAL ARTWORK: The Onanist Express

£300.00

Genuine one-off collage artwork signed by Greg Moodie. This multi-layered piece was photographed and published in The National on November 18th 2019. It was created using traditional cut and paste techniques with an overall page size of 425 x 560mm. Rare and highly collectable.

Contains a wide array of collage material and a subliminal message written in UV ink around the perimeter.

The particular story is the battle of the election buses, with party leaders Boris Johnson, Jeremy Corbyn and Jo Swinson trying to outdo each other on the bus slogans.

‘As the battle of the election buses commenced, Boris Johnson, referring to some Labour promise, used the word ‘onanism’ in a speech briefed to the press. The word was dropped when the speech was delivered. He also described Labour’s free internet plan as a “crazed Communist scheme’ and didn’t know the words to the nursery rhyme “The wheels on the bus” at a pre-school photo op.’
