The artist’s comment: ‘In a promotional leaflet headed ‘The Liberal Democrats are Winning’, it was claimed that Scottish branch manager Alex Cole-Hamilton was “the most popular party leader in Scotland”. I have no idea how they arrived at such a conclusion but it was unlikely to have been based on any kind of reality.’
