The artist’s comment: ‘In an article in the Economist, Prime Minister Liz Truss’s term in office was compared to the shelf life of a lettuce. There was a growing number of voices from her own party calling for her resignation and chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng was replaced by Jeremy Hunt after just 38 days in the post.’
